Zisu (Japanese: ペリーラ Perilla) is the captain of the Galaxy Team's Security Corps.

She bears a striking resemblance to Flint and Buck, but the relationship between them, if any, is unknown.

In the core series games

For most of the game, Zisu can be found at the Training Grounds in Jubilife Village. She offers the player various services:

Zisu's services become temporarily inaccessible from Mission 13: "Disaster Looming" to Mission 17: "Atop Mount Coronet" due to the player's exile from Jubilife Village.

She can sometimes be found at Dagero's photography studio in Jubilife Village, and when talked to, she will ask to take a picture with the player.

Pokémon

By speaking to Ingo at the Training Grounds, the player can initiate battles against Zisu.

Quotes

Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Jubilife Village - Training grounds
"So you're the one? That new recruit everyone's talking about?"
"The name's Zisu. Captain of the Security Corps."
"I see you've got some fight in you. Figured I'd stop by and give what advice I could."
"Now listen—if your Pokémon's truly mastered its moves, it can actually use them in different styles!"
"On the one hand, you can choose to deliver a move in the strong style. The move will deal more damage, but afterward it'll take longer for your Pokémon to act."
"On the other hand, you can choose to unleash a move in the agile style. Such a move will have less power behind it, but your Pokémon can act more quickly afterward. In truly favorable conditions, it might even get out two moves before the opponent can act."
"Strong style moves, agile style moves, and of course, regular moves... Choose which is right for a given situation, and direct your Pokémon with a little nudge."
"Oh, one more thing—if you want to teach your Pokémon some powerful moves, just let me know!"
  • First time talked to after reaching First Star rank
"Hey, I heard you raised your rank! Now I can teach your Pokémon some new moves. So, what can I do for you?"
  • First time talked to after reaching a new Rank past First Star rank
"Hey, I heard you raised your rank again! Now I can teach your Pokémon some more new moves. So, what can I do for you?"
  • If talked to before reaching a new rank
"Hello there, Survey Corps recruit! Did you need something from me?"
I want new moves
"So, which of your darling Pokémon do you want me to tutor?"
"Hmm. Seems like <Pokémon> doesn't know any moves I can help with."
I want to master moves
"So, which of your darling Pokémon do you want me to tutor?"
"All right, then! So, which move do you want to have <Pokémon> master?"
"Then I'll use a Seed of Mastery to help <Pokémon> master <move>. You ready?"
"I can't help your Pokémon master moves if you don't have a Seed of Mastery."
Quit: "Change your mind? Take all the time you need to think it through."
Master move: "Then here I go!"
"Hyaaaaaa!"
"Perfect! Keep up with the training."
I want to exchange items
"Interested in an item exchange? What is it you're in the market for?"
"I can swap you one <Item 1> for <Item 2>, if you want."
"Or we could do a larger exchange, if you'd like. Say <Item> for <Item>. So, what'll it be?"
"<Item 2>? Sure, if you have <Item 1> to trade. But it doesn't look like you do..."
"Anything else you need?"
I've got a question
What do you want to know?"
About learning moves: "I can teach your Pokémon moves. Not for free, though, mind you. But I can even help them learn moves that they wouldn't learn by leveling up."
About mastering moves: "Pokémon can master moves through leveling up. Once a move is mastered, you can choose to have your Pokémon perform it in the strong or agile style, see? And of course, if you give me a Seed of Mastery, I can help your Pokémon master a move, too."
About using moves: "Shouldn't you know this already if you've battled Pokémon before? You start a battle, then you choose a move! It's up to you to choose whether you use one that'll be just plain effective or super effective or whether you might want to deliver a move in the strong style or the agile style."
About effort levels: "Raising your Pokémon's effort levels will improve their stats, you see. You can use items like Grit Dust to raise your Pokémon's stats, like Attack or Defense or what have you. It might give you the edge you need in battle."
  • After selecting one option and completing or select Never mind/Nothing/Quit
"What else can I do for you?"
  • Before battle (Regular Pokémon battle)
"Hey! It's me, Zisu. We can skip the introductions, right?"
  • Upon being defeated (Regular Pokémon battle)
"Well now, I didn't expect that..."
  • After being defeated, or if the player loses (Regular Pokémon battle)
"It seems like I was teaching you about agile style and strong style only yesterday, but now you're a true hero of Hisui!"
"Captain Zisu of the Security Corps, reporting for duty!"
  • Upon being defeated (Path of Tenacity)
"I see you're as impressive as ever..."
Coronet Highlands - Temple of Sinnoh
"The commander's headed to the temple, but... I fear the situation's already beyond our control..."
Request 104 - "Battling the Security Corps' Secret Weapon"
Jubilife Village - Training grounds
"Hello there, <player>!"
"You know... We've an interesting member in the Security Corps. A secret weapon, if you will."
"They're a bit of a Pokémon battle master, in fact."
"Think I could trouble you to face our secret weapon in battle?"
Of course!: "Give us a moment then."
"Everything's set. Come with me!"
"Here's our ace in the hole: Ress!"
Maybe later: "If you're ever interested, let me know. I'd love to see a match between two real masters."
