Searing Shot (Japanese: かえんだん Flame Projectile) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation V. It is one of the signature moves of Victini.

Effect

Searing Shot deals damage and has a 30% chance to burn the target. It does not affect opponents with Bulletproof.

Generation VIII

Pokémon Sword and Shield

From Versions 1.0 to 1.2.1 of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Searing Shot could not be selected in a battle. Starting with Version 1.3.0, it is usable and functions the same as it did in previous generations.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Searing Shot cannot be selected in a battle.
