Main article: Rare Fossil (Darkness Ablaze 167)

A Fossilized Fish is featured in the Pokémon Trading Card Game on the Rare Fossil Item card included in the Darkness Ablaze expansion, first released in the Japanese Infinity Zone expansion. It is a Fossil Trainer card, so after it is played it is put onto the Bench as a Colorless-type Basic Pokémon. It can evolve into any of the Generation VIII Fossil Pokémon: Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish, or Arctovish. .

Trivia

  • In Pokémon Sword and Shield, the Fossilized Fish and Fossilized Drake appear to have mistakenly swapped sprites. The Fossilized Fish offers the "-vish" head for Dracovish and Arctovish but visually looks like the body provided by the Fossilized Drake. In the anime, their appearances are the opposite of their game sprites.
  • The Pokémon revived from the Fossilized Fish have 10 extra points in their Defense and Special Defense Stats, and 10 fewer points in their Attack and Special Attack stats, compared to their counterparts revived from the Fossilized Bird.
