In the anime
In A Better Pill to Swallow, Old Man Shuckle was seen mixing various sorts of Berry Juice with his Shuckle, their effects varying from curing indigestion to attracting Pokémon.
In Defending the Homeland!, Clemont mentioned having used Berry Juice as part of a new recipe that he had just made for the group.
In Flying Pikachu, Rising Higher and Higher!, the Shuckle traveling with the Rising Volt Tacklers was revealed to produce Berry Juice for the crew to drink.
Trivia
- While this item is unobtainable in the Generation III games, it was coded to be held by wild Shuckle that appear in Altering Cave in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, as well as by both Shuckle and Aipom in Pokémon Emerald's Altering Cave. However, these Pokémon can only appear in that location after using Mystery Gift at a Wonder Spot distributing the Altering Cave event, but this distribution never occurred.
