With the release of each series in the Pokémon Trading Card Game comes a plethora of collectible merchandise, and the Black & White Series is no exception. In order to release special promotional cards, booster packs, and other merchandise, promotional items such as Collector's Tins and Value Boxes are distributed. The following is a list of the merchandise released during the BW era of the trading card game.

Bulbanews has an article related to this subject:

To start off the Black & White Series for the English trading card game is the release of the Sneak-Peek Tins. Released on March 9, 2011, these tins introduce the first Generation V Pokémon to the TCG. Each tin features one of the three starters—Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott—in the form of both a promotional card and a figure, as well as a preview pack of five other Generation V Pokémon. The three cards featured in the tin feature new artwork than when released in Japan in the Journey Partners collection. Each tin also contains four booster packs from the Platinum Series, HeartGold & SoulSilver Series, and Call of Legends.

Black & White Theme Decks

Bulbanews
Bulbanews has an article related to this subject:

Theme Decks are an integral part of the trading card game, being released with just about every one of the main expansions. Furthering the release of the Generation V Pokémon, the three theme decks for the Black & White expansion feature the final evolutions for Unova's starter Pokémon: Serperior, Emboar, and Samurott. The Green Tornado, Red Frenzy, and Blue Assault theme decks were released on April 6, 2011: roughly three weeks before the main expansion. These three theme decks each contain a code for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, allowing players to use these theme decks while battling in the game.

Black & White Trainer Kit

Bulbanews
Bulbanews has an article related to this subject:
Main article: Black & White Trainer Kit (TCG)

In order to teach beginning players how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Trainer Kits with two pre-constructed Half Decks are released. The Black & White Series brings the Black & White Trainer Kit. This kit was originally due for release August 3, 2011, but was held back for unknown reasons. The Black & White Trainer Kit features Zoroark and Excadrill as holographic cards with artwork exclusive to the Trainer Kit. The Zoroark Half Deck contains Darkness-type Pokémon and the Excadrill Half Deck features the Fighting-type. None of the included cards have Rarity symbols and they each feature a collection number and set symbol exclusive to the kit. The collection numbers are the order of the cards in the two Half Decks for the example battle allowing for easy reset if the decks are accidentally shuffled prior to use for example battle.

In addition to the Half Decks, the Black & White Trainer Kit also contains two booklets to guide players through the game, an exclusive deck box featuring Excadrill and Zoroark,, a rulebook, damage counters, status counters, a custom coin with Energy symbols, a playmat and a code card to unlock the cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online. Redeeming the code card also unlocked the Night Hunter Theme Deck which combines both Half Decks into a full 60-card deck.

The release of the Noble Victories expansion brought with it the release of the additional Theme Decks: Fast Daze and Furious Knights, featuring Accelgor and Escavalier, respectively. These theme decks were the last to be released earlier than the main expansion: being released on November 2, 2011. Next Destinies Theme Decks

The Next Destinies expansion brought with it two Theme Decks: Explosive Edge and Voltage Vortex. They featured the two main Legendary Pokémon of Unova, Reshiram and Zekrom, respectively. Unlike the first three expansions of the Black & White Series, these Theme Decks were released the day of the set, instead of weeks prior. In addition, their featured cards, Reshiram and Zekrom, used the Tinsel Holofoil, instead of the Cracked Ice Holofoil typically used in Theme Decks. Each included a Pokémon Trading Card Game Online code that allows the deck to be unlocked online.

Bulbanews has an article related to this subject:

Released together with the Next Destinies expansion, various Blister Packs hit store shelves on February 8, 2012. In an unprecedented move by The Pokémon Company International, the Blister Packs for North America began to include different assortments of products compared to the international blisters. The familiar Three Pack Blisters, released internationally, came in two varieties: one with an exclusive Cosmos Holofoil Riolu promotional card, and one with an exclusive Cosmos Holofoil Luxio promotional card. These Blisters included three Next Destinies booster packs, and a coin featuring Munna.

The North American Blister Packs, on the other hand, came in four varieties: two different Two Pack Blisters containing either one of two Stage 2 evolutionary families, and two Single Pack Blisters containing either one of two Stage 1 evolutionary families. The Stage 2 Blisters contained either the Klinklang family or the Gigalith family, all Cracked Ice Holofoil. The Stage 1 Blisters contained either the Zoroark family or the Beartic family, with the final stage as a Cracked Ice Holofoil, and also contained a Next Destinies 3-card sampling pack and a code card to unlock either family in the online game.

EX Tins

Shortly after the release of the Next Destinies expansion, on March 21, 2012, the EX Tins were released. These tins featured three of the newest Pokémon-EX: Reshiram-EX, Kyurem-EX, and Zekrom-EX. Included in the tins were one Emerging Powers booster pack, one Noble Victories booster pack, two Next Destinies booster packs, and an online code card to unlock the promotional card online. For the first time in several Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the tin promos neither were exclusive cards, nor given alternate artwork. They were exactly the same as their in set prints, with the exception of their set number.

Dark Explorers Blisters

Bulbanews
Bulbanews has an article related to this subject:

Accompanying the Dark Explorers expansion on May 9, 2012, various Blister Packs were released in stores to promote the expansion. Continuing the pattern set by Next Destinies, the Blister Packs for North America include different assortments of products compared to the international Blisters. The international Three Pack Blisters came in two varieties: one with a Cracked Ice Holofoil Luxray promotional card, and one with a Cracked Ice Holofoil Krookodile promotional card. These Blisters included three Dark Explorers booster packs, and a coin featuring Zekrom and Reshiram first released in the Next Destinies Theme Decks.

The North American Blister Packs came in four varieties: two different Two Pack Blisters containing either one of two Stage 2 evolutionary families, and two single pack Blisters containing either one of two Stage 1 evolutionary families. The Stage 2 Blisters contained either the Luxray family or the Krookodile family, all Cracked Ice Holofoil. The Stage 1 Blisters contained either the Persian family or the Lucario family, with the final stage as a Cosmos Holofoil, and also contained a Dark Explorers 3-card sampling pack. These Blisters contain the promotional cards—Luxio and Riolu—that previously weren't released in North America in the international Next Destinies Blisters; however, the two promos are not given the Cosmos Holofoil treatment, making both releases contain exclusive cards.

The Stage 2 Blisters were eventually discontinued in favor for the old, international style of Three Pack Blisters. Dark Explorers is the last set to have them.

Dragons Exalted Theme Decks

Bulbanews
Bulbanews has an article related to this subject:

The Dragons Exalted expansion features two theme decks, which are named DragonSnarl and DragonSpeed, that were released August 15, 2012. These two theme decks feature the Dragon-type, and contain the Brutal Pokémon Hydreigon and the Mach Pokémon Garchomp, respectively, as exclusive Cracked Ice Holofoils. Each Theme Deck includes a Pokémon Trading Card Game Online code that allows the deck to be unlocked online.

Early product images featured the incorrect card in the image. As there are two different Hydreigon and Garchomp featured in the Dragons Exalted expansion, the early images featured the alternate Hydreigon and Garchomp cards, instead of the ones actually present in the deck.

Dragons Exalted Blisters

Released with the Dragons Exalted expansion on August 15, 2012, four different Blister Packs appeared in stores, because the Stage 2 Blisters were discontinued in between the release of Dark Explorers and Dragons Exalted. The Three Pack Blisters came in two varieties: one with a Cracked Ice Holofoil Chandelure promotional card and one with a Cracked Ice Holofoil Scolipede card. These Blisters included 3 Dragons Exalted booster packs, and a coin featuring Reshiram and Zekrom, originally included in the Next Destinies Theme Decks. Emerging Challenges Box

Released September 18, 2012, was the Emerging Challenges Box, a box that seemingly repackaged older material in order to make room for newer merchandise. Much like the Evolved Starter Boxes, the Emerging Challenges Box contained 1 Theme Deck and 2 booster packs, as well as exclusive promotional cards. Differing from the previous boxes, however, the Emerging Challenges Box contained 3 Holofoil cards instead of 1 Holofoil card and a figure. One of the four Theme Decks from the Emerging Powers and Noble Victories expansions—Power Play, Toxic Tricks, Fast Daze, or Furious Knights—was available in the box, as well as 1 booster pack from Black & White, and another from either Emerging Powers or Noble Victories. The promotional cards included were a Mirror Reverse Holofoil Stoutland evolutionary line. The Herdier and Stoutland were from the Black & White expansion, while the Lillipup was one of the BW Black Star Promos: BW52.

The Lillipup promotional card originates from the Cobalion Battle Strength Deck, a deck released in Japan 19 months earlier. The other Pokémon cards from the deck were included in the English Emerging Powers expansion 13 months earlier. It is unknown why the card was withheld for such a long time before finally being released September 2012. Ironically, the card features a 2011 copyright instead of a 2012 copyright.

Plasma Freeze Blisters

Released with the Plasma Freeze expansion on May 8, 2013 were multiple Blister Packs promoting the expansion. The Three Pack Blisters feature a Team Plasma Landorus promotional card and a Team Plasma Druddigon promotional card, later released again in the Deoxys Box. Each of these Blisters contains three booster packs from the Plasma Freeze expansion, as well as the promotional card and a Team Plasma coin. Also released were two different Single Pack Blisters, or Checklane Blisters, featuring either Electrode or Moltres. These Blister Packs differ from similar Blister Packs from previous expansion in that they only contain one card instead of a typical Stage 1 Pokémon evolutionary line, as well as a back stock coin. The possible coins for this Blister Pack are either Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile, all of which were included in the HeartGold & SoulSilver Theme Decks.

The Mewtwo Figure Blister was released in July 2013. It comes with two random packs from the Black & White Series, and also provides another opportunity to collect the Mewtwo Figure previously released in the Mewtwo Collection. The Figure included in this product, however, utilizes different bases than those previously released in the Mewtwo Collection: they lack the "Mewtwo" written on the side of the base.

After the success of the first Plasma Storm Elite Trainer Box, The Pokémon Company International believed that Elite Trainer Boxes should become an integral part of the TCG merchandise line up. Two sets later came the Plasma Blast Elite Trainer Box. The box added Card Sleeves, as well as an additional booster pack, bring the total to eight. Also included are 5 basic Energy cards from each of the 8 types, an acrylic Poison marker and Burn marker, 6 orange Plasma Blast themed dice, 1 transparent Plasma Blast themed dice for flipping, and a player's guide with tips about all the newly released cards in the Plasma Blast expansion.

Best of Black & White Tins

The Best of Black & White Tins are a set of five different tins that have all been released before. These five include the Mewtwo-EX, Darkrai-EX, and Rayquaza-EX Legendary EX Tins and the Black Kyurem-EX, and White Kyurem-EX EX Power Tins. The five promotional cards are exactly the same, the two Kyurem tins still feature the two Meloetta promotional cards, and they all retain the same back descriptions as their previous releases. The only difference is that the four booster packs included in the tins are updated to be much more recent to their November 2013 release.
