Description: A small pond with a turtle-shell pattern. Pokémon that gather here love to play in the water and rest on the island.
Predominant type: Water
Capacity: 10
Method to obtain: Buy for 5,500 Poké
Friend Area

Turtleshell Pond (Japanese: 甲羅 Shell Pond) is a Friend Area in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. It can be bought from the Wigglytuff Club for 5,500 Poké, or it will be obtained if the player has Squirtle as the player or partner or Psyduck as the player. It is the only Friend Area in the Pond area, and has a capacity of ten Pokémon, all of them Water-type.

Geography

Turtleshell Pond is a small, clear, bubbly pond. It has either turtle shells or patterned rock floating in it. It also has a building carved out of a large rock rising out of the water. As opposed to walking on the water, the Pokémon here stay on the bridge and the building in the center.
