Trivia
- Mountain Gale’s Japanese name, ひょうざんおろし “Hyōzan Oroshi” (Iceberg Wind), has a double meaning, asthe word “oroshi” can refer both to a wind blowing down a mountain (颪)[1] and to the act of dropping something (下ろし).[2] The first meaning is supported by the translations of the move in other languages, which consistently associate it with wind, while the second meaning is supported by the move’s animation, which shows chunks of ice being dropped onto the foe.
