Plot

The episode begins with someone's Plusle and Minun attacking with Swift in a Double Battle against Samurott and Sandslash. The Trainer of the latter Pokémon, Ann, has her Pokémon counter with Drill Run. Minun uses Helping Hand to power up Plusle's Grass Knot, allowing the attack to bind Samurott and Sandslash together. Sandslash quickly breaks the bind with Rapid Spin, and the Trainer of both Cheering Pokémon, Lacey, compliments Ann for being able to utilize what she has learned at Blueberry Academy. Ann has Samurott use Hydro Pump, but both Plusle and Minun negate with Discharge, which triggers their respective Abilities, Lightning Rod and Volt Absorb, in the process. Ann is left in awe at Lacey's skills, with Nemona getting excited from the audience seats. The school's director, Cyrano, joins her and the two discuss Ann's presence as an exchange student. Meanwhile, the Brave Olivine approaches Blueberry Academy and the younger members of the Rising Volt Tacklers are in awe of the school.

They leave the airship with the older members of the group and are greeted by Cyrano at the gate. While bringing them to Briar, he allows the group to train at the school and even arranges their accommodation. However, Briar completely forgets about their arrival and asks the group to meet at her office tomorrow instead. While pondering what to do with their newfound free time, Dot asks Cyrano about how the school came to be in the middle of the ocean. The school's director is saved from answering by Lacey, who exchanges introductions with the Rising Volt Tacklers. Cyrano tasks Lacey with giving the school's visitors a tour, and she reluctantly accepts, knowing how he can't be trusted with giving tours due to his forgetful nature. Lacey brings the group to the Terarium, where they are amazed to see a man-made environment that is split into four different areas — the Savanna Biome, Coastal Biome, Canyon Biome, and Polar Biome — which allow Pokémon to thrive anywhere. While Ult chases after the distracted Sableye, the others spot a Terastallized Tauros, which Lacey explains is due to the Terarium Core resting above them. Having briefly heard from Briar about doing maintenance on this, Lacey reveals Terastal energy coming out from the core is what allows the wild Pokémon to Terastallize. Lacey then brings the group to the Central Plaza where they reunite with Ann and Nemona. Nemona happily reveals she came to Blueberry Academy with Penny, who is elsewhere at the moment, before challenging Roy to a Double Battle of their own. While Roy brings out Crocalor and Lucario like last time, Nemona calls out Pawmot and Decidueye, having caught the latter as a Rowlet after arriving at the school. Lacey confirms the battle will end once someone has two knocked out Pokémon and begins the battle.

Decidueye avoids a Flamethrower from Crocalor by jumping into the air before entering a portal with Phantom Force. Upon exiting, Decidueye tries to attack Lucario, but it avoids the Arrow Quill Pokémon. Lucario manages to block a follow-up attack from Pawmot, resulting in Nemona getting her Pokémon to react defensively, with the Hands-On Pokémon using Dig. While it is underground, Roy calls for Crocalor and Lucario to focus their attacks on Decidueye, who is in the air. Lucario and Decidueye take on each other as Pawmot comes up from the ground, only for it to accidentally attack its ally when Lucario holds it in place from behind. While Crocalor attacks Pawmot, Lucario was forced to stop its attack midway when it gets stuck in place as a result of its shadow getting struck by Spirit Shackle from Decidueye. Lucario is unable to escape the effect of the arrow and gets defeated by Nemona's Pokémon, leaving Roy with only Crocalor. To add on to Nemona's advantage, Pawmot is now a pure Fighting-type Pokémon thanks to Double Shock, which removes the user's Electric type, reducing the effectiveness of Crocalor's Stomping Tantrum. However, Roy isn't fazed by this setback and Terastallizes Crocalor, with Nemona doing the same with Pawmot. Crocalor presses forward with Flame Charge to stop Pawmot before it finishes charging its power but gets caught in Decidueye's Spirit Shackle. Crocalor musters up the strength to escape Decidueye's Spirit Shackle, but it's too late and Pawmot's enhanced Focus Punch finishes off Crocalor, making Nemona the winner of the Double Battle.

Afterwards, the group compliments Roy and Nemona's battle before Ult, who joined the spectators earlier, asks Nemona for a battle. Unfortunately, Lacey reminds Nemona about her return to Paldea, leaving Ult frustrated by another missed opportunity to battle. After Nemona leaves, the visiting Rising Volt Tacklers express their desire to grow stronger as Trainers. Ann suggests having the other students help, such as Lacey, who happens to be part of the BB League Elite Four. Just then, she is joined by a fellow Elite Four member, Drayton, whom she asks to help her. Despite the visitors also asking him to help, he casually turns them down, getting into an argument with Lacey. Nonetheless, Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult begin their training at Blueberry Academy.
