Big Wave Beach (Japanese: ビッグウェーブビーチ Big Wave Beach ) is a location on Melemele Island in Alola , located west of Route 2 . Sandy Cave is located at the south end of the beach. It also serves as the Melemele Surf Spot for Mantine Surf .
Big Wave Beach only appears in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon .
Mantine Surf The player can travel from this beach to other islands' Surf Spots using Mantine Surf . The player can travel to the following locations.
BP exchange BP shop The woman under the southern canopy sells items for Battle Points .
Move Tutor The woman under the northern canopy will teach Pokémon moves in exchange for Battle Points.
