Steam Cave (Japanese: ねっすいのどうくつ Hot Water Cave) is an unlockable dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, that can be obtained by activating the Groudon Statue with the Drought Stone to clear the fog at Foggy Forest. After eight floors comes The Upper Steam Cave, consisting of seven floors, and then the first boss, a fake Groudon, an illusion created by Uxie's psychic powers is encountered. Uxie is the one who truly guards the area and protects the Time Gear.
After the first visit, the dungeon cannot be revisited until after the credits. Uxie will be the boss of the dungeon on subsequent visits, who, upon defeat, will ask to join the player's team.
