Chimecho Assembly

The Chimecho Assembly (Japanese: チリーンへんせいじょ Chimecho Assembly) is a system run by Chimecho in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky as a replacement for Friend Areas from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team.

Chimecho Assembly opens to the player's team once the player has gained access to Waterfall Cave, allowing the player to recruit new members. The player can access the Chimecho Assembly at sublevel one in Wigglytuff's Guild, by ringing the bell at the well at the crossroads south of the guild, in Shaymin VillageS, and on Pelipper Island. Here, one can arrange which Pokémon that will be going out on expeditions to various dungeons. The limit of an exploration team is four members, meaning that before the hero and their partner graduate, only two Pokémon can be chosen from Chimecho Assembly. The recruits currently in the party will appear at the crossroadsTDS or at Spinda's CaféS.

After the graduation exam, Chimecho will ring the bell again, this time allowing the player to choose which Pokémon will be the leader in exploring a dungeon and also allowing the hero and their partner to not be on the exploration team. Unlike the previous games, even if the hero and their partner aren't on the team, they will still be controlled on the overworld, and not the new team leader. Additionally, the hero, partner and Manaphy will always have order priority in a team over regular recruits, but not over each other or the current leader.
