Mega Launcher (Japanese: メガランチャー Mega Launcher) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. From Generation VIII onward, it is the signature Ability of Clauncher and Clawitzer.

Effect

In battle

Mega Launcher boosts the strength of aura and pulse moves used by a Pokémon with this Ability. Damage-dealing moves are boosted in power by 50%, while Heal Pulse heals 75% of the target's maximum HP rather than the usual 50%, including Z-Heal Pulse.

Affected moves

The table below lists the moves affected by Mega Launcher, as well as the Pokémon that can have Mega Launcher and learn those moves.

Although the following moves are affected by the Ability, they currently cannot be learned by any Pokémon with Mega Launcher. They may, however, be called via Metronome, Copycat, or Mimic, or be used by a Pokémon that gained Mega Launcher by an Ability like Trace or Receiver or a move such as Skill Swap or Role Play.

Outside of battle

Mega Launcher has no effect outside of battle.
