Sandsear Storm (Japanese: ねっさのあらし Hot-Sand Storm) is a damage-dealing Ground-type move introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It is the signature move of Landorus.
Effect
Generation VIII
Sandsear Storm inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of burning the target.
Generation IX
Sandsear Storm's PP was raised to 10 and its base power was increased to 100. It now has a 20% chance to burn each target. In battles with multiple opponents, Sandsear Storm targets all adjacent opponents.
When used during rain, Sandsear Storm bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.

Trivia
- Sandsear Storm's description in Pokémon Legends: Arceus states that it "leaves the target with a burn", which erroneously implies that its additional affect is guaranteed. This error is not present in its variations' description.
