Mirai (Japanese: メアリ Mary) is a character in Hoopa — The Mischief Pokémon and Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. She is Baraz's younger sister and takes care of Hoopa in Arche Valley.
History
Mirai grew up in Arche Valley alongside Baraz and her friends Kopou, Bit, and Luca. While Baraz was very serious about becoming one with nature (a trait of people living in Arche Valley), Mirai was not. She preferred to prank her brother together with Hoopa, much to Baraz's annoyance. One day, she, Baraz and her friends tried to help Old Man Don by having Hoopa make rain appear to stop the drought. This didn't work however, as Hoopa misunderstood and let it rain candy from Mira's store instead. They were punished for this by Mira, and had to help her make donuts. They later got in even more trouble, when they accidentally broke an ivory statue treasured by Mira. They tried to glue the statue, but weren't able to make it look like it did before. Mira ultimately discovered this, but she wasn't mad at them as they had done their best to repair it. Afterwards they all enjoyed the donuts they made together.
In the present day, Baraz and Mirai were wandering in the desert near Dahara City as they were looking for the Prison Bottle. Following a long search, Barza decided to look for it own his own from his Braviary, and told Mary to go on ahead to Dahara City with Hoopa. They promised each other they would meet at the Dahara Tower. Mirai and Hoopa continued walking and eventually saw the skyline of Dahara City glister in the sun.
In Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, she met Ash and his friends there.
