Arche Valley (Japanese: アルケーの谷 Arche Valley) is an animated series-exclusive location in Kalos and one of the settings of Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. It is Meray and Baraz's hometown. It debuted in Hoopa — The Mischief Pokémon.
Inhabitants of Arche Valley have slightly different powers compared to people not from Arche Valley. They strive to become one with nature, and are said to be able to communicate with Arceus and receive power from it. There are ivory statues placed throughout Arche Valley that resemble Arceus's ring and are treasured by the townspeople.
One hundred years ago, an inhabitant of Arche Valley called Ghris managed to stop Hoopa Unbound from destroying Dahara City. He then sealed away Hoopa's evil power in the Prison Bottle, causing Hoopa to transform into Hoopa Confined. Afterwards, Hoopa went to live with Ghris in Arche Valley.
In Hoopa — The Mischief Pokémon, it was shown that Ghris's great-grandchildren Baraz and Meray grew up here alongside Hoopa, Lucianne, Pit, and Kevie.

Trivia
Origin
The mountainous terrain of the Arche Valley is modeled after the Khor ash Sham and the Hajar Mountains[1], where the former is an inlet in the Musandam Peninsula in Oman commonly described as a fjord and the latter is one of the highest mountain ranges in the Arabian Peninsula that is located between the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
The settlement features architecture resembling the traditional style of housing in the Middle East, possibly modeled after the historical district of Al Bastakiya[2] in Dubai with the whitewashed buildings potentially inspired by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque[3] in Abu Dhabi.
