Ash's Pikachu
These Pikachu were distributed to players who inserted the common serial code PIKACHU20. The serial code was able to be used from September 19 to October 30, 2017.
The Pikachu obtained depends on the date the code was redeemed, and the code can be redeemed only once per save file.
When the player collects Pikachu, they are given a Pikashunium Z at the same time.
Original Cap
This special Pikachu is based on Ash's Pikachu during the o series. The level of Pikachu corresponds to both the original series debuting in the first year of the Pokémon anime and the first movie in the original series being the first Pokémon movie overall. The Trainer ID number is based on the air date of the first episode in the original series in the United States, September 8, 1998.
