No Retreat (Japanese: はいすいのじん Last Stand) is a non-damaging Fighting-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature move of Falinks.
Effect
No Retreat raises the user's Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed by one stage each. It also prevents the user from switching out or fleeing, unless the user has the Ghost type.
No Retreat fails if the user has been prevented from switching out or fleeing due to using No Retreat. However, if the user has already been given the "Can't Escape" status by another move such as Mean Look, No Retreat will successfully grant its stat boosts but will not create an additional status line to trap the user again. In this case, using No Retreat multiple times will create multiple boosts.
The user of No Retreat can still switch out after using the move if it is holding a Shed Shell, if its Eject Button activates, if its opponent's Red Card activates, or if its opponent uses a move on it that forces the target to switch out, such as Whirlwind or Dragon Tail.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
No Retreat cannot be selected in a battle.
