Pokémon Fan Club | |||
The Kalos region has its Pokémon Fan Club located in Laverre City. The Pokémon Fan Club is an organization spread throughout the Pokémon world, with at least one Club House in nearly every region. The Fan Club is a place for people to meet and chat about their favorite Pokémon and to show off their collections to each other. In general, the members are usually more oriented to unevolved, cute Pokémon.
A member of the club will rate the friendship of the first Pokémon in the player's party, while another will award a Pokémon with an List of Ribbons in the games if it has attained the maximum number of base points, 510.
===Gym Badge Storyteller===
In the house next to the Pokémon Fan Club, there is a lady who can tell which Pokémon were with the player when they beat a Gym by looking at its corresponding Badge.
===Café=== | |||
In the northeastern part of town is a café the player pays to enter. Daily, patrons inside will show off a Pokémon that is indexed by the Pokédex if previously unseen. More Pokémon may be seen depending on where the player chooses to sit, including Legendary Pokémon. If the player has seen every Pokémon available inside the Café, the waiter will comment and ask if they are sure about paying to come in. If the player decides not to enter, the waiter will tell the player that he will make the Café into something they will love by their next visit. Similar cafés can be found in Cyllage City and Anistar City.

Laverre City first appeared at the end of The Moment of Lumiose Truth!, where it was seen on Serena's Town Map.
In A Fashionable Battle!, Ash and ashfr arrived in Laverre City for Ash's sixth Gym match. However, they learned the Laverre Gym was hosting Valerie's fashion show for her latest designs that day. Clemont also re-encountered one of his former Gym challengers, Sawyer, with the others meeting him for the first time. As they waited for their Gym matches, Ash and Sawyer decided to have a Double Battle in the meantime, but it was interrupted by the fashion show. At the fashion show, Valerie invited Sawyer onto the stage for a battle, though he lost.
In Fairy-Type Trickery!, Ash had his Gym battle, a two-on-two match, against Valerie and won, earning the Fairy.
In Rivals: Today and Tomorrow!, Ash and his friends remained in Laverre City to help Sawyer search for his missing notebook. After retrieving Saywer's notebook from TRT, Ash and Sawyer had a three-on-three battle, which Ash won. Afterwards, the group headed for their next destination, while Sawyer left for Coumarine City.
In Battle Three With Bea!, Korrina brought Bea some chocolates from Laverre City, also sharing them with Ash and Goh.

Laverre City first appeared in Quilladin Stands, where, following the battle against Team Flare on 8, X and his friends retreated there to train. While their battle had resulted in Korrina freeing the citizens of Vaniville Town from Team Flare's mind control, Korrina herself had been injured and gotten her Key Stone stolen by Celosia, and Team Flare had succeeded in transporting Xerneas to their base to power the ultimate weapon. X, blaming his overconfidence during the battle of these failures, shut himself off from his friends while they engaged in some battle training with Gurkinn. Korrina and the Vaniville Town citizens, meanwhile, were brought to the Laverre General Hospital to recover. Since all the Vaniville Town residents were in a coma, none of them could tell where Team Flare's base was located.
While isolating himself, X suddenly received a talking message from Xerneas, encouraging him to keep moving on and resist the urge of separating himself from others. Following this, a wild Klefki brought X Clemont's glasses, which were displaying an image of Geosenge Town. Remembering that Clemont's glasses feature whatever the camera on his Aipom Arm sees, combined with the facts that Clemont had disappeared some time earlier and this same Klefki had been seen following Grace when she had been taken away by Team Flare, X realized that Team Flare's base was in Geosenge Town, prompting him to depart there at once.
In Pyroar Breathes, X's friends, having learned of X's departure, joined Grant, Ramos, Valerie, Olympia, and Wulfric in heading to Geosenge Town as well.

Slogan
The city of otherworldly dreams. (Japanese: ちょっぴり 不思議の 街 The city that is a little bit mysterious.)
Places of interest
Laverre Gym
- Main article: Laverre Gym
The Laverre Gym is the official Gym of Laverre City, whose Gym Leader is Valerie and specializes in Fairy-type Pokémon.
Pokémon Fan Club
- Main article: Pokémon Fan Club
The Kalos region has its Pokémon Fan Club located in Laverre City. The Pokémon Fan Club is an organization spread throughout the Pokémon world, with at least one Club House in nearly every region. The Fan Club is a place for people to meet and chat about their favorite Pokémon and to show off their collections to each other. In general, the members are usually more oriented to unevolved, cute Pokémon.
A member of the club will rate the friendship of the first Pokémon in the player's party, while another will award a Pokémon with an Effort Ribbon if it has attained the maximum number of base points, 510.
Gym Badge Storyteller
In the house next to the Pokémon Fan Club, there is a lady who can tell which Pokémon were with the player when they beat a Gym by looking at its corresponding Badge.
Café
In the northeastern part of town is a café the player pays to enter. Daily, patrons inside will show off a Pokémon that is indexed by the Pokédex if previously unseen. More Pokémon may be seen depending on where the player chooses to sit, including Legendary Pokémon. If the player has seen every Pokémon available inside the Café, the waiter will comment and ask if they are sure about paying to come in. If the player decides not to enter, the waiter will tell the player that he will make the Café into something they will love by their next visit. Similar cafés can be found in Cyllage City and Anistar City.
Move Tutor
A Move Tutor will teach Grass Pledge, Fire Pledge, or Water Pledge to first partner Pokémon, but only if the Pokémon's friendship is as high as possible.

Main series
Laverre City first appeared at the end of The Moment of Lumiose Truth!, where it was seen on Serena's Town Map.
In A Fashionable Battle!, Ash and his friends arrived in Laverre City for Ash's sixth Gym match.
In Fairy-Type Trickery!, Ash had his Gym battle, a two-on-two match, against Valerie and won, earning the Fairy Badge.
In Rivals: Today and Tomorrow!, Ash and his friends remained in Laverre City to help Sawyer search for his missing notebook. After retrieving Saywer's notebook from Team Rocket, Ash and Sawyer had a three-on-three battle, which Ash won. Afterwards, the group headed for their next destination, while Sawyer left for Coumarine City.
In Battle Three With Bea!, Korrina brought Bea some chocolates from Laverre City, also sharing them with Ash and Goh.

X & Y arc
Laverre City first appeared in Quilladin Stands, where, following the battle against Team Flare on Route 8, X and his friends retreated there to train.
While isolating himself, X suddenly received a telepathic message from Xerneas, encouraging him to keep moving on and resist the urge of separating himself from others. Following this, a wild Klefki brought X Clemont's glasses, which were displaying an image of Geosenge Town. Remembering that Clemont's glasses feature whatever the camera on his Aipom Arm sees, combined with the facts that Clemont had disappeared some time earlier and this same Klefki had been seen following Y's mother when she had been taken away by Team Flare, X realized that Team Flare's base was in Geosenge Town, prompting him to depart there at once.
In Pyroar Breathes, X's friends, having learned of X's departure, joined Grant, Ramos, Valerie, Olympia, and Wulfric in heading to Geosenge Town as well.
Trivia
- The clock on the tree behind the Laverre Gym has 13 hours shown on it. This may be a reference to the Witching Hour or the Devil's hour, when black magic or supernatural creatures were said to appear and be at their most powerful. Some also believe that the 13th hour is when the fairy realm and the human realm come together.
- This city represents Lille, the fourth biggest city and the industrial capital of France, as well as the industrial past of the North region with Roubaix and Tourcoing.
- In the southwestern corner of the city lives a man named Gaddy who will tell the player a "scintillating story". His daughter says she has an uncle in Hoenn, referring to Giddy from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
