Soundproof (Japanese: ぼうおん Soundproof) is an Ability introduced in Generation III.
Effect
In battle
Generations III and IV
Soundproof prevents all effects from sound-based moves, granting Pokémon with this Ability immunity from them.
In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, a sleeping Pokémon with this Ability cannot be woken with a Poké Flute. From Generation III to IV, Pokémon with this Ability can still fall asleep during an uproar.
Generation V
Pokémon with Soundproof can now be affected by Heal Bell.
Generation VI onward
Pokémon with Soundproof again cannot be affected by Heal Bell.

The Ability affects the following moves:

Soundproof has no effect outside of battle.
