Peg (Japanese: プルーフ Proof) is a character in Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
History
Peg is a cheerful girl that Ash and his friends meet in Crown City. She is an avid fan of the Pokémon Baccer World Cup team Coronet Fighters, and her backpack is used to help cheer them on during matches. She is evacuated along with the rest of the city due to Zoroark's attack. She is last seen returning following Kodai's defeat, watching the video exposing Kodai's evil schemes and commenting that he's a terrible man for doing such a thing.
Her favorite Pokémon are Magnemite, Magneton and Magnezone. Her Magnemite-themed attire is also related to her backing of the Coronet Fighters team; Mt. Coronet is where Magneton evolves into Magnezone.
Peg made a cameo appearance during the credits of M14.
Trivia
- Peg's Japanese name, Proof, is an English translation of another spelling of the name of her Japanese voice actress, Shōko.
- In the dub version of Zoroark: Master of Illusions, Peg does a cheer and she includes the words Heart and Soul, possibly to refer to Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions.
