Vespiquen (Japanese: ビークイン Beequeen) is a Bug/Flying-type Pokémon. It is the evolved form of Combee.
Biology
Physiology
Vespiquen is is 3-foot tall Bee Pokémon. This Pokémon has a yellow and black striped abdomen that resembles a skirt. Vespiquen's abdomen can serve as a nest for baby Combee. Vespiquen has black, skinny arms with two orange claws. Vespiquen flies with a pair small (compared to its body} wings on her shoulders. Vespiquen has an orange face and red eyes. Vespiquen has a red gem on her forehead and yellow and black "horns".
Vespiquen is most likely a distant cousin of Beedrill, a Pokémon also based off of bees.
Gender differences
Vespiquen is female only.
Special abilities
Vespiquen has three separate signature moves that involve summoning a swarm of baby Combee, which she stores in her honeycomb-like lower abdomen: One is for defending, the second is for recovery and the third is for attacking enemies.

Trivia
Origin
Vespiquen is based on queen bees.
Name origin
Its name is a combination of "vespa," Italian for "wasp," and "queen". "Beequeen" is derived from the word 'bee' and 'queen', meaning that only female bees can become the leader of a colony of bees.
