Snipe Shot (Japanese: ねらいうち Snipe Shot) is a damage-dealing Water-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature move of Inteleon.

Effect

Snipe Shot deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio. It is unaffected by moves and Ability effects that draw in moves, such as Follow Me and Storm Drain.

Generation VIII

Pokémon Sword and Shield

Prior to Version 1.2.0 of Sword and Shield, if Snipe Shot was selected by Metronome, the move would fail (as Metronome targets oneself when it is used).

In Double Battles, due to a glitch, Snipe Shot will fail if called via Sleep Talk.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Snipe Shot cannot be selected in a battle.
