Stomp (Japanese: ふみつけ Trample) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Generation I

Stomp inflicts damage and has a 29.7% chance of causing the target to flinch. Stomp can only cause the target to flinch if the user attacks before the target. Stomp cannot make a target with a Substitute flinch.

Generation II and on

Stomp has similar effects to the previous generation, however, there is a 30% chance of causing the target to flinch. In addition, the base power of Stomp is doubled to 130 if the target has already used Minimize before.
