A Reporter (Japanese: レポーター Reporter) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. Reporters also appear paired with Cameramen as Interviewers and in Generation III they can be battled only in that way. Reporters are young women working as television reporters.

They specialize in Flying and Electric-type Pokémon.

Machamp is the reporter's only known Pokémon. It was used in a wrestling match against Hareta's Lucario.

  • In Diamond and Pearl, Reporter Kinsey can be fought in the Jubilife TV station on Mondays.
  • In Platinum, Kinsey (along with Cameraman Tevin) can be found in these Pokémon Center locations around Sinnoh:
