Pokémon world locations

East Province (Area One) (Japanese: 東1番エリア East - Area One) is a grassy region in the East Province of the Paldea region that surrounds Artazon. It connects to East Province (Area Two) over a river in the northeast, East Province (Area Three) in the north, South Province (Area Three) in the south and west, and South Province (Area Five) in the far southwest. The southeastern side of the region borders the East Paldean Sea. Schedar Squad's Base, the headquarters of Team Star's Fire Squad, is located within the region.

Places of interest

Artazon

Main article: Artazon

The town of Artazon is located in the southern portion of the area. It is home to the Artazon Gym, led by the Gym Leader Brassius.

Schedar Squad's Base

Main article: Schedar Squad's Base

Schedar Squad's Base, the base of operations of Team Star's Fire Squad led by Mela, is located in the central part of the area.

East Province (Area One) Pokémon Center

A Pokémon Center is located near the center of area, just northeast of Artazon. A Pokémon League representative here asks the player to defeat five Pokémon Trainers in East Province (Area One) for an item reward.

East Province (Area One) Watchtower

A watchtower is located at the northeastern part of the area, overlooking the East Paldean Sea. A Chest Form Gimmighoul can be found and battled here.

Special encounters

Reshiram in East Province (Area One)

After acquiring a Reshiram Treat from Snacksworth, Reshiram will spawn in this area as a static encounter. If defeated, it can be battled again after the game has been rebooted, provided that over one hour has passed in Nintendo Switch's internal clock since its defeat. It is coded to never be Shiny.
