Trivia

Origin

It appears to be based on a reindeer, since both, the males and females have antlers. The shiny form also has a red nose.

Name origin

Stantler's name may be combination of stag and antler. Its Japanese name probably comes from 脅し odoshi, threat, 鹿 shika, deer, and possibly also from 猪狩 shishigari, which means "hunting" in regards to animals such as deer. Its German name, Damhirplex, comes from Damhirsch and perplex. Its French name, Cerfrousse, comes from cerf and frousse.
