Mt. Pyre (Japanese: おくりびやま Mt. Pyre) is a location in Hoenn. It has an interior and exterior section and is located on Route 122.
Mt. Pyre can be considered a counterpart to Kanto's Pokémon Tower and Sinnoh's Lost Tower. It houses the many graves of Pokémon. Many grieving Trainers also visit the Tower to pay their respects. Also present within the mountain are thrill-seeking Trainers who will battle the player when encountered. Mt. Pyre can also be considered the opposite of the Cave of Origin, considered the beginning of life, as Mt. Pyre represents the grave and the end of life.
An old couple that live on the summit of the mountain are well versed in the legends of Hoenn and are Phoebe of the Hoenn Elite Four's grandparents. They guard the Red Orb and Blue Orb that are sought by Team Aqua and Team Magma.

After the player has subdued the legendary Pokémon, the player can return to the summit to watch Maxie and Archie return the Blue Orb and Red Orb to their proper places and then depart. After the orbs are returned, Team Aqua and Team Magma are not seen for the rest of the game.

Trivia
- Phoebe mentions before battle that she trained here. She also says that her grandmother lives here; this is likely the old lady on the summit.
- There is fog here, but it has no in-battle effect. This is because fog was not used as a game mechanic until Generation IV.
- When looking from the outside, there appears to be nothing at the summit. However, going through Mt. Pyre will reveal that there is. A similar situation occurs with Navel Rock.
