While passing through Jubilife City on his way to Lake Verity in Licking Lickitung, Diamond met three Clowns and the Pokétch Co. President. The Clowns were part of a campaign for the Pokétch Company, somewhat similar to three Coupon Clowns situated in Jubilife City from the games. Diamond also became part of the campaign and dressed up as a Clown for the part.
