Fissure (Japanese: じわれ Fissure) is a very inaccurate Template:Type2 one-hit KO move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Generation I
Fissure does damage equal to the opponent's current HP. Fissure will break a Substitute on contact, and can be countered for infinite damage on the turn it breaks a substitute.
Fissure will not affect an opponent whose current Speed is greater than the user's current Speed.
Generation II and on
Instead of being unable to affect targets of higher Speed, it will be unable to affect targets of a higher level.
