Walkthrough:Pokémon Legends: Z-A/Part 10
Time to Mega Evolve
Now that you have battled your first Mega Evolution, it’s time to use Mega Evolutions yourself. The next morning Urbain/Taunie will meet you in the lobby. Vinnie calls them and asks them to come over to talk about Rogue Mega Evolutions. This will launch Main Mission 10: The Secrets of Mega Evolution.
However, before you can meet with Vinnie, Urbain/Taunie wants you to experience the power of Mega Evolution. This means a battle, but they want the Absol holding the Absolite to be in your party. You don’t actually need to use Absol or Mega Evolve it during the battle, but the battle won’t begin until it is in your party with the stone equipped. Additionally, it's not required for you to win in order to advance the story. Urbain/Taunie will have the two first partner Pokémon you didn’t pick (now in their mid-stage Evolutions at level 25), and Mega Manectric at level 26.
Entering the Wild Zone
Three new Wild Zones have opened up so it’s a perfect time to take a look at our team. One of the most exciting is Gible though it is a very rare spawn in Wild Zone 8. You’ll have to fend off a number of angry Pokémon in order to grab it, and you can find them in a burrow like the ones Drilbur live in. Wild Zone 9 is very vertical and you’ll find more Pokémon on the rooftops than on the ground. In Wild Zone 10, Tynamo is found in the alley past the Alpha Sharpedo so approach those with caution.

Rising up the Ranks
When you go to Quasartico Inc. headquarters to meet up with Vinnie you are met outside by two level 30 Dedenne who won’t let you enter without a fight. Urbain/Taunie will join you in battle using one of the mid-stage starter Pokémon. Once they’ve been dispatched, follow Vinnie over to the court to talk about Mega Evolution. He asks you about the Absol and congratulates you on a job well done.
Things have been progressing slowly in the Z-A Royale but no longer. Vinnie sends you a challenge via the app, and you are told that if you win you’ll shoot up all the way to rank F. However, that doesn’t mean you can battle him immediately. You still need to wait until night and gather enough points to purchase your ticket.
Battle time
You are required to earn 6000 Ticket Points before you can grab your ticket and face Vinnie. Wait until night, or change the time of day at a bench, and head to the Battle Zone for the evening. As usual, make sure that you collect Bonus Cards and fulfil the tasks if you want to gather enough points to face Vinnie within one night. Sneaking and having a good variety of move types on your team will be essential to success. If you run out of time, you can always wait until night to give it another go.
V for Victory
Once you have your ticket you’re ready to face Vinnie. He is standing in the court outside of Quasartico, and has a level 30 Houndoom, Sharpedo, Buneary, and level 32 Mega Drampa. Once you and Urbain/Taunie win your matches, head inside Quasartico Inc. and agree to help the company take on Rogue Mega Evolutions.
You learn that two years ago AZ came to Quasartico worried about the build up of Mega Power in the city. The first Rogue Mega Evolutions began to show up in Lumiose around six months ago. AZ was fighting alongside Floette but given his age (he’s more than 3000 years old after all) Urbain/Taunie took over as Floette’s trainer in these fights. Before you leave you’ll be called over to reception, and you can now trade in your Mega Shards for certain Mega Stones. More Mega Stones will be added as you progress.

Emergency meeting
Urbain/Taunie wants to meet Naveen for a coffee so make your way over to the food truck. There Naveen tells you about Canari, a streamer and excellent Pokémon trainer that he’s a super fan of. Vinnie then calls with the location of a Rogue Mega Evolution, and you decide to head back to the hotel. Meeting up with Lida the four of you begin your strategy meeting. Naveen reveals that he has made a flag for Team MZ, and the meeting begins.
There are worries about a Rogue Mega Slowbro, Camerupt and Victreebel loose in Lumiose. The team decides to take on the Pokémon as a team for the best chance at success, with each of the other members taking the lead on a fight each. After the meeting AZ will give you a Mega Stone for your first partner Pokémon.
This triggers the start of Main Mission 11: A Rogue Mega Slowbro, Main Mission 12: A Rogue Mega Camerupt, and Main Mission 13: A Rogue Mega Victreebel. You can finish these three Main Missions in any order, and taking them all down will complete Main Mission 10.
