The Sparkling Skylands (Japanese:キラキラうきしまの街 Sparkling Floating Island Town) is the final unlockable area in Pokémon Pokopia, only unlockable after befriending Kyogre in Withered Wasteland, Raikou in Bleak Beach, and Volcanion in Rocky Ridges. It is what remains of Saffron City after a series of catastrophic weather anomalies ravaged the world and forced humans to take refuge in space.
Ditto arrives in the Sparkling Skylands through the gate from either Bleak Beach or Rocky Ridges, accompanied by Professor Tangrowth.
The Sparkling Skylands is connected to Rocky Ridges to the west, Withered Wasteland to the east, and Bleak Beach to the south through gates. The gate to Withered Wasteland is blocked from the Sparkling Skylands' side, making it inaccessible from Withered Wasteland until this blockage has been removed.
Places of interest
Skyland Pokémon Center
The Skyland Pokémon Center is initially a pile of rubble on a stone tile platform, having been torn down by extreme weather. It is eventually rebuilt by Ditto and a group of other Pokémon, after which a note can be found on the floor inside, alongside a counter with a cash register, a 3D printer, a healing machine, and some furniture.
Tinkmaster's tower
Tinkmaster has built a tower of junk left behind by humans, with a room at the top. Ditto meets Tinkmaster outside this room after Tinkmaster is sent flying out through the doors by an explosion inside.
Big building
The big building sitting on one of the islands is the ruins of the Silph Co. building. Tinkmaster will ask Ditto to help her rebuild this building.
High-rise ruins
To the east, just infront of the gate to Withered Wasteland, is a neighborhood of ruined high-rise buildings. Gardevoir is also found here.
Underground office
An underground office appears in the Sparkling Skylands after every available Pokémon have been registered in Ditto's Pokédex. Inside is a printer that lets Ditto print out a diploma. Unlocking this office also allows Ditto to learn the recipes for the shutter, card reader, and printer.
Demographics
While there are no longer any humans living here, the Sparkling Skylands is inhabited by a handful of Pokémon before Ditto starts making new habitats.
Not counting Ditto and Professor Tangrowth, the Sparkling Skylands is initially inhabited by six Pokémon:
