Request (Pokopia)

Requests (Japanese: おねがいごと requests) are a mechanic in Pokémon Pokopia that allows Ditto to advance the narrative by solving problems for Pokémon found in habitats across different areas. When a Pokémon has a new request, a speech bubble appears above its head, and a new entry appears in the Request menu suggesting the player speak to that Pokémon to learn more. These entries have a color associated to the type of Request:

Pink requests are Storyline requests
Green requests are Habitat requests
Yellow requests are Item requests
Blue requests are Action requests

After talking to the Pokémon, the request description updates to reflect the required task, or is marked as complete immediately if Ditto has already met the conditions. Once finished, the request is removed from the menu.

Important requests may require completing requests from multiple Pokémon and cannot be resolved until all related tasks are fulfilled. Only optional requests are not required to be completed in order to finish the game's story.
