Mewtwo

D-Arts Mewtwo was first D-Arts Pokémon that was first revealed on October 2012[1] It is a high-end collector's action figure produced by Bandai under their Tamashii Nations brand and released on May 2013. Based on the character's appearance in the film Mewtwo Strikes Back, this figure was designed to be a "stylish" and highly poseable representation of the Genetic Pokémon. The initial release came with a Shadow Ball effect piece, a display stand, and a non-articulated accessory of Mew that could be plugged into the display stand.[3]
For the release of Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution, a new -Arts Remix- version of the original figure was released in the S.H.Figuarts line. This new release contains newly-engineered wrists, a new alternative head, and a recolored Shadow Ball effect piece. This release also does not contain the Mew accessory. Pre-orders for this figure went up on February 01, 2019 and released on June 22, 2019.[4]

On May 2019, a S.H.Figuarts -Arts Remix- of the original D-Arts Blastoise figure was announced.[10] While this Arts Remix figure features a more animation-accurate color scheme, it also features much heavier retooling than previous entries in the line. For starters, the figure features new updated feet with three white claws instead of two. It also has a new set of teeth– two on the upper jaw and four on the bottom. Also, new additional head sculpt was added, allowing Blastoise to look to the side. Finally, the two Hydro Pump effect parts have been cast in a translucent blue plastic as opposed to the simple clear plastic from before. This retooled figure was released on October 19, 2019.[11]
