Pokémon Trainer Trivia is an electronic trivia game made by Zanzoon and Ultra Pro Entertainment released in 2021[1]. It is a 1-4 player game recommended for players ages 7 and up. It features over 1000 true-or-false questions about the Pokémon franchise.
The game would be later succeeded by the Pokémon Trainer Guess series of electronics as well as Pokémon Trainer Mission, Pokémon Trainer Challenge, Pokémon Trainer Expert, and Pokémon Trainer Ultimate.[2]
Contents
- x1 Game Master (electronic unit)
- x1 Instruction manual
- x3 AAA batteries[3]
Blurb
Put on your Trainer cap, choose your Pokémon and challenge your friends!
The electronic Game Master will give some information on Pokémon.
It’s up to you to guess if it’s true or false!
Be the first to press your Pokémon and to give your answer. If your answer is correct, your opponents lose points. The Trainer with the most points at the end of the game, wins![3]
Gameplay
Each session of gameplay lasts 15 minutes per game and includes three difficulty levels: Beginner, Advanced, and Expert. The "Game Master" electronic provides true-or-false questions about Pokémon, and the first player to press their Pokémon's button (either Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, or Pikachu) will get a chance to respond and earn points for correct answers. There are a total of 1,000 possible questions.[3] The player with the most points wins.
The "Solo! Train" mode allows a single player to answer questions to achieve a high score.
The device also features a demo, "try-me!" mode.
