In Japan, the Regular print was also printed in the Sun & Moon Starter Set released on the same day, December 9, 2016. A special Holofoil SM-P Promotional print was included in the February 2017 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban!, released December 21, 2016. Another SM-P Promotional print was given to participants of the Teaching Corner held at each chosen School Festa 2017 venue across Japan between October 1 and November 30, 2017. Representatives from Pokémon circles in schools and universities were required to register their interest in hosting an event during the application period, which ran from July 7 until September 15, 2017.
