Blurb

With five of the Six Hero Pokémon in a rage due to the meddling of the Explorers, Liko, Roy, and Ult desperately try to end the fight. Even Amethio arrives to help—will the Trainers’ combined powers be enough to stop the rampage?

Plot

As five of the Six Heroes go berserk a second time due to the Super Strong Spheres, Liko, Roy, and Ult prepare to face them again. The Rising Volt Tacklers' remaining Pokémon try to hold out against the rampaging Six Heroes while their Trainers look for an opening. However, Ult is left in despair by the situation such that he didn't notice Gouging Fire coming his way until Captain Pikachu, who was protecting Ult, and Sableye, who was in the Paradox Pokémon's attack range, are defeated by it. The other Pokémon soon are defeated one by one, leaving only Charcadet, Lucario, and Mega Dragonite still standing. The kids recall their defeated Pokémon as they brace themselves for the next onslaught of attacks. Just then, a Thousand Arrows attack falls from the sky as Amethio arrives on Corviknight with the White Zygarde in its 10% Forme in tow. Coral and Sidian, who had been watching the battle, decide to take on Amethio. He entrusts the battle against Glalie and Garganacl, both powered up by Laquium, to Corviknight and Zygarde while calling out Ceruledge to assist with the Six Heroes.

Ceruledge giving Charcadet a boost

Liko asks Amethio to have Ceruledge give Charcadet some power. Realizing her intent, Amethio calls for Ceruledge to use Bitter Blade on Charcadet, triggering its Flash Fire Ability. Roy decides to have Lucario power up as well, Mega Evolving the Aura Pokémon into Mega Lucario. Liko initiates the counterattack by having Charcadet attack Arboliva with a supereffective Fire Spin to immobilize it. Charcadet momentarily celebrates its victory before getting caught off-guard by Kleavor. Ceruledge saves it with Bitter Blade before taking Kleavor head-on. Gouging Fire approaches Charcadet, making the latter panic until Liko reminds the Fire Child Pokémon of its battle with Arcanine. Charcadet unleashes a barrage of Embers before running away until Liko commands it to jump, clinging onto Gouging Fire like it did with Arcanine. In an attempt to get Charcadet off, Gouging Fire uses Burning Bulwark, but it only activates Charcadet's Ability once more and allows it to use a powered-up Ember against the Paradox Pokémon. Meanwhile, Ult struggles to help Mega Dragonite as Galarian Moltres is catching up. Roy remembers the battle against Steelix and has Ult get Mega Dragonite to fly to Mega Lucario, who is facing Lapras. Mega Dragonite does as ordered, and at the last second, both Mega Pokémon launch themselves into the air, causing Moltres and Lapras to collide with each other. The two Mega Pokémon prepare to attack, but they get attacked by Arboliva, who manages to free itself from Charcadet's Fire Spin. Charcadet gets trampled by Gouging Fire while Kleavor takes down Ceruledge. Corviknight and Zygarde are also defeated by Glalie and Garganacl, rendering Liko and the others hopeless as all of their Pokémon have been defeated. Out of desperation, an despaired Liko begging the Six Heroes to stop. To her surprise, they do. Right after that, the Laquium crystals on the bodies of the Six Heroes break off while the Pokémon themselves collapse from exhaustion as the effects of the Super Strong Spheres wear off. Spinel is satisfied with the results of the battle and orders the Explorers to retreat, leaving Liko's group watching helplessly as the Six Heroes get taken away.

Dot arrives at the warehouse, with Liko and Roy being surprised to see Tinkaton, while Hamber and Cervantis react similarly to Amethio. While Liko, Roy, and Ult tend to their Pokémon, Amethio discusses the event that just transpired with the newcomers. He also apologizes for not having enough strength to help, but Dot thanks him for coming. Cervantis approaches Liko and Roy to apologize for the trouble caused. The two young Rising Volt Tacklers reveal their reason for visiting as Dot gives the former director a flash drive containing data on the harmful effects of the Strong Spheres, but Cervantis says Spinel could counter with his own data and claim they’re safe. Cervantis begins to apologize again for not being able to help when Amethio lashes out at him angrily, asking if he is really going to let things be. He refuses to let his father run away again and reveals he once gave up too until he was reminded to follow his path. When asked about his path, Amethio answers that it's to defeat Spinel and rid the world of Laquium after gathering the Zygarde Cells of his grandfather's Zygarde. As for what comes after, it's something he'll discover along the way, leaving Cervantis properly chastised. Cervantis becomes motivated to fight back and asks to help, making his son pleased. The two reconcile with a handshake before Amethio tells the Rising Volt Tacklers they will meet again as long as their goals are the same.

Liko and Charcadet ready to train

Liko, Roy, and Dot watch Amethio, Cervantis, and Hamber leave before deciding to return to the Brave Olivine. However, Ult announces he's not going back. Instead, he wants to train after experiencing a frustrating defeat by the Six Heroes. Charcadet and Crocalor come out of their Poké Balls, sharing his determination. Liko proposes they all train together since they all feel the same way, but none of them knows where to start. Just then, the group receives a call from Briar, who is excited as her book is ready to be published. When she finds out they wanted to ask her about Pagogo, Briar invites the group to Blueberry Academy. Dot notes its battle-focused curriculum, and the group decides to go train there while meeting with Briar. Meanwhile, in a room with the five captured Six Heroes, Spinel declares it's time for the next stage now that he believes Pagogo is no longer a threat.
