Combined illustration (TCG)

A combined illustration is a set of card illustrations that, when viewed together, form a larger image. The cards these illustrations appear on are typically drawn by the same artist and released together in the same expansion.

Combined illustrations are similar to narrative illustrations, which feature one part of a story and continue that story onto other cards.

Pokémon LEGEND and Pokémon V-UNION

The cards for Pokémon LEGEND and Pokémon V-UNION are also combined illustrations, as their artwork is spread across all of the involved cards, be that two cards for a Pokémon LEGEND and four cards for a Pokémon V-UNION. Each card can only be put into play alongside the other card or cards of the same name.
