The illustration features various elements and locations from the Generation III games:

- The Stone, Balance, and Dynamo Badges.
- A Pecha Berry and a Lum Berry, and a Wailmer Pail used to water Berry trees — Generation III was the generation that revamped Berries and Berry growing mechanics.
- Professor Birch's laboratory in Littleroot Town.
- The moving truck the player character rode in on their way to their new house in Littleroot Town, and a Machoke (in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire) tasked with moving boxes into the house.
- Fortree City.
- A Kecleon.
- The Acro and Mach Bikes.
Additionally, the artworks across the three Hoenn First Partner Illustration Collection cards primarily use the colors ruby, sapphire, and emerald, representing the Generation III games Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
