Keiko Fukuyama

Jump to navigationJump to searchKeiko Fukuyama (Japanese: ふくやまけいこ), born September 7, 1961, Tokyo, is a freelance artist who has provided illustrations for numerous manga publications and light novels, many of which she has authored, as well as delving into animation. Her debut work, Fukuyama Jikkuvukku, was self-published in 1981. Fukuyama's style involves the use of traditional mediums, including felt pens and pencils to create vibrant, colorful images. She has written and illustrated a handful of Pokémon-related books, and also provided a number of illustrations for the Pokémon Trading Card Game in 1999 and 2002, most notably Pokémon featured in the Rainbow Island aspect of the Southern Islands Collection.
