Collection 151 (Chinese: 收集啦151) is the first subset of cards to be released in the Simplified Chinese Scarlet & Violet era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Information
Collection 151 is a special expansion featuring all 151 Pokémon from Generation I in National Pokédex order, rather than being sorted by type first, as Pokémon cards usually would. It was revealed on December 22, 2024, as part of the introduction of the Scarlet & Violet era in the Simplified Chinese language, and will be released on January 17, 2025.
Although the set is the equivalent of the Japanese Pokémon Card 151 and international 151 expansions, a number of changes have been made to its card list:
According to the official Simplified Chinese website, several different booster packs will be made available for the expansion throughout 2025, each with a slightly different pool of cards available and with altered pull rates; the first booster pack only includes one of the four illustration rare cards (170/151), while none of the three special illustration rare cards will be present.[1]
Cards are available in two different types of booster packs:
- 5-card booster packs; one card will either be Reverse Holofoil or have a rarity of Rare or higher;
- 20-card booster packs; seven cards will either be Reverse Holofoil or have a rarity of Rare or higher.
Additionally, players can obtain special two-card event packs by participating in special events; these can consist of any cards in the expansion, including Reverse Holofoil variants, with the exception of illustration rare and special illustration rare cards.[2]
Each of the 139 Common, Uncommon, and Rare cards in the expansion also comes in two Reverse Holofoil variants - one with a Poké Ball motif, and a rarer one with a Master Ball motif:
