The Battle Party: Shared Dream kits are similar in many respects to the Battle Party Set released during the Simplified Chinese Sun & Moon Series, in that they were not initially sold to the public and cards were intended to be first available through organized Limited format events.
Cards are sourced from the Scarlet & Violet and Sword & Shield Series and are divided into two numbered collections, each with its own set code. The first collection consists of cards available in the decks, while the second comprises cards exclusively enclosed in 1-card Battle King Reward Packs. All deck cards are available in Non Holofoil, with one deck also featuring a Holofoil variant. Rule Box Pokémon and Secret cards in this variant retain their normal Holofoil styling, while all other standard cards are Mirror Holofoil. Cards from the Battle King Reward Packs are all Holofoil and feature a Battle Party: Shared Dream product logo stamp.
The Battle Party: Shared Dream Part 1 kit was distributed to eligible Pokémon Card Gym stores to host Battle Party: Shared Dream Tryout Events, which were held between February 28 and April 8, 2025. People wishing to participate could register through the Pokémon TCG Members WeChat App starting February 26, 2025.[1] Each box includes eight 60-card decks that employ different strategies, one Battle King Reward Pack, 20 Collection 151 2-card event packs, four cardboard coins, and eight cardboard sheets containing damage counters and Special Condition markers. Seven of the decks are fixed, while the eighth is randomly enclosed from a pool of three. Each deck is sealed in plastic wrapping with a gameplay instruction card. Decks available in Battle Party: Shared Dream Part 1 comprised:[2]
7 fixed decks
Venusaur ex Deck
Charizard ex Deck
Blastoise ex Deck
Finneon Deck
Electrode Deck
Tyranitar V Deck
Regigigas Deck
1 random deck

Locations hosted either 4-player tournaments or 8-player tournaments. Participants in 4-player tournaments were required to pay 64 Chinese Yuan, for which they would receive two random decks. Participants would play two rounds of Swiss using one of the decks they received. They could not modify the decks but could select different ones for each round. The overall winner would receive the Battle King Reward Pack and 8 Collection 151 event packs; those in second would receive 6 Collection 151 event packs; those in third would receive 4 Collection 151 event packs; those in fourth would receive 2 Collection 151 event packs.
Participants in 8-player tournaments were required to pay 32 Chinese Yuan in exchange for a random deck. Participants of the Battle King Competitions were required to pay 32 Chinese Yuan to enter, and would receive one random deck to use throughout. In the preliminary rounds, participants were divided into four groups of eight, with each group playing three rounds of Swiss. Each group winner would progress to the final and receive a Battle King Reward Pack, plus 8 Collection 151 event packs; players placing second would each receive 4 Collection 151 event packs; players placing third and fourth would each receive 2 Collection 151 event packs; players placing lower would each receive 1 Collection 151 event pack. Of the players that did not progress to the finals, one would be randomly drawn to receive a commemorative Mewtwo event pin. Prospective players could either register in advance through the Pokémon TCG Members WeChat App or register directly at a host store. For 30 Chinese Yuan, participants could select either a Battle Party: Shared Dream Deck or a Battle Party: Shining Dream Deck and play one 2-player game. For as long as stocks lasted, the winner would receive two random Rising Star Stickers and the runner-up would receive one random Rising Star Sticker. Stock permitting, both players would also receive a Rising Star Certificate after completing a game. Thirty-two Rising Star Sticker designs were available in total, each of which features a focal Pokémon from the Battle Party products released during 2025.[5]
