The Dynamax Clash V Starter Deck (Simplified Chinese: 极巨争锋 V起始卡组) is an Simplified Chinese-exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game deck with random elements that was first released in Mainland China on May 18, 2023.
Information
This product was available alongside the first Simplified Chinese Sword & Shield set, Dynamax Clash, and includes regulation mark D cards from early Sword & Shield expansions previously released in other territories. Each deck includes 60 cards made up of two randomly paired 30-card groups, each of which comprise a selection of Pokémon cards that typically focus on one type, in addition to Trainer cards and supporting basic Energy cards. The first group has 18 possible varieties and always contains at least one Pokémon V card, while the second group has 12 possible varieties. The cards within each group variety are always the same and any combination of the two groups can make up the deck.
Each deck is also packaged with a rulesheet, a cardboard sheet containing damage counters and Special Condition markers, and a bonus booster pack containing one of 40 possible cards. Twenty-five of these are Trainer cards that can also be found in the deck, while 15 Secret cards can only be found in the bonus pack. All cards have a product-specific collection number and set symbol, but do not feature rarity symbols. Secret cards from the bonus pack are Holofoil, while all other cards are Non Holofoil.
