Big Bertha (Japanese: ビッグママ Big Mama) is a non-player character in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.
She is frequently hailed as the strongest person in Almia, even beating Barlow, according to Crawford. She is the wife of Little Tim as well as the mother of four children, and owner of a Miltank. She is also famous for her Milk Pudding. Her hometown is located in Vientown.
She is seen now and again throughout the game, involved in minor parts of the plot as well as a few Ranger Quests. Her first appearance is while the player is going to Nabiki Beach. When the player is a student it is possible to visit her house. It is located in the southwest of Vientown with the Miltank in the pasture. She is seen during the first Mission, where the player must deliver the Vien Tribune to the citizens of Vientown and Chicole Village. Later, she plays a much bigger role at Nabiki Beach when the Vientown Rangers need enough strength to carry a Gigaremo unit. She is later seen giving milk pudding to the Rangers, even showing kindness to Ollie. That made him speak to the Rangers after all the days that he didn't say a word. Then Big Bertha insisted that the rope was cut.
Later on in the game, she congratulates the player for becoming the Top Ranger on the player's way home.
In a quest, she asks the player to bring a Slakoth to her husband so that his fear of Pokémon would go away.
