Mt. Ember (Japanese: ともしびやま Mt. Firelight) is a dormant volcano on Knot Island in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Moltres lives high atop this behemoth mountain, and the mountain was named for the embers that are visible at night because of the legendary bird. Players need Strength to move boulders to reach Moltres. It is also home to the Ruby.
In the entrance, there is a move tutor that will teach Explosion to a compatible Pokémon. Also, there are two Team Rocket grunts that must be battled post-National Dex.
Later in the game, the player must navigate through many boulders to retrieve the Ruby for Celio's Network Machine. It is in a room with braille.
