Shadow Hold (Japanese: ダークホールド Dark Hold) is one of several Shadow moves available only in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. Like other Shadow moves, it is forgotten and replaced with another move once the Pokémon is purified.

Effect

Shadow Hold is a Shadow version of Spider Web, Mean Look and Block, and prevents the target from switching out. It hits both enemy Pokémon in a Double Battle.

As Shadow Pokémon cannot be traded, and since Pokémon Contests do not exist in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Shadow Hold cannot be used in Contests.

Description
