Charge (Japanese: じゅうでん Charge) is a non-damaging Electric-type move introduced in Generation III.
Effect
Generation III
If the user's next move is Electric-type, it will deal twice the usual amount of damage.
Generation IV
In addition to the previous effects, Charge now raises the user's Special Defense by one stage until the end of the turn.
Generation V
Charge's increase in Special Defense by one stage now lasts as a regular stat boost.
