It has a total of 21 floors, with Quicksand Cave consisting of ten floors, Quicksand Pit of ten floors, and Underground Lake. Mesprit serves as the boss of the dungeon, and after the credits can be recruited on the second battle. The dungeon is unlocked the day after the player completes the Northern Desert.
