There are several instances of Ditto transformations in Pokémon media.

In the core series games, a Pokémon that uses Transform accurately copies the appearance of the target. However, in the Pokémon the Series: The Beginning episode Ditto's Mysterious Mansion, Duplica's Ditto struggles to transform its face, causing anything it transforms into to have Ditto's face. Although this was originally presented as an anomaly, several other Ditto in various Pokémon media have since been depicted with their original face while transformed as well, and these transformations have been featured in merchandise such as in the Ditto Collection.
