Ogerpon (Japanese: オーガポン Ogerpon) is a Grass-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation IX, with The Teal Mask.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Ogerpon is the game mascot of The Teal Mask, appearing in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
Biology
Ogerpon is a small, green humanoid Pokémon. It has a green torso with a small blue star on its stomach, and long black legs with two toes on each foot. Between its toes are sprouts with two leaves. A green, leafy cloak covers its arms, the neck of which appears to be a large, thorny vine. Two thorns stick out prominently from the top, resembling two large horns. Underneath the mask, Ogerpon has yellow eyes.
It covers its face with its large, teal mask that has a mischievous expression. The mouth is tan, sporting two protrusions from the chin that resemble pincers. One both sides of the mouth are three large green leaves that are larger than each one below. On top of the mask are 5 teal leaves fanned out to form a kind of crown, with the outer four having holes cut out towards the center. A type of crystal that resembles those found in the depths of Area Zero adorns its mask, a 4 sided star in the center of its crown, 6 more in the center of each leaf on the side of its mask, and two more used in the center as eyes.
The mask it wears is described as being fearsome[1].
Special Terastallized Form
Forms
Ogerpon has an unnamed, unique Terastallized form.
In its Terastallized form, Ogerpon's mask becomes bigger, completely covering all but its legs. The black part of mouth mask opens up more. The head crystal changes into having the Terastal Symbol at center along with two Ogre-like spikes on front of head. The lower three large green leaves change to bright green. Behind the mask is several bright green leaves and spit vines forming a fur like look for mask.

Trivia
Origin
Ogerpon may be based on oni, creatures from Japanese folklore that often are referred to as demons or ogres in English. In particular, it may be based off the oni who live on Onigashima from the story of Momotarō. It may also be inspired by onikenbai, or Devil's Sword Dance, a traditional festival and dance in Kitakami, Iwate.
Name origin
Ogerpon may be derived from ogre and ponkan or dekopon, a variety of orange, as well as ~ぽん -pon, a cutesy suffix applied to names as a form of endearment.
