The guide for those can be found here.
Celadon City
Celadon is the second-largest city in the region, and it's got plenty going on to live up to the hype. All Trainers should be sure to visit the Celadon Department Store, since it has the best selection of any Poké Mart. The Celadon Mansion is a hotel-of-sorts, and the current tenants are none other than the team that developed Pokémon. The Game Corner houses the slot machines, and all those coins can be redeemed for valuable prizes in the Prize Corner next door. In addition, Celadon is also home to the Celadon Gym, nestled on a ledge in the southwest.
Celadon Mansion
The tall building in the north of town is Celadon Mansion. On the third floor, Game Freak's game designer promises a reward to Trainers with a completed Pokédex, and there's a new addition nearby. Clear a spot in your party, follow the path behind the Poké Center, and pass through the break in the trees to sneak inside the Mansion's back door. Take the stairs to the top floor and inspect the Poké Ball on the table to find an Eevee, the only one of its kind. Eevee is an extremely versatile creature; it evolves into Vaporeon, Jolteon, or Flareon when it encounters the radiation from a Water Stone, Thunder Stone, or Fire Stone, respectively. These stones are readily available at the Department Store, and any form will be a great asset, especially since they can cover the weaknesses of the starter's final form.

There's nothing for sale on the third floor, but you can talk to the clerk to get TM18 (Counter).

The evolutionary stones are on sale here. Pick up any but a Leaf Stone for your new Eevee, and grab a Poké Doll too; it may not sound like much, but it will be important in Saffron City a little later.

Each of the vending machines dispenses three kinds of beverage; Fresh Water for $200, Soda Pop for $300, and Lemonade for $350. The little girl nearby doesn't have any money with her, and would happily repay your kindness. Give her a Fresh Water to get TM13 (Ice Beam), a Soda Pop for TM48 (Rock Slide), and a Lemonade to get TM49 (Tri Attack).
While you're here, snag an extra drink for the Saffron City guards. You may want to stock up on Lemonade as well; each drink restores a Pokémon's health, but Lemonade is the most potent. At $350, it is half the price of a Super Potion, and it restores an extra 30 HP.
No Loitering!
If you haven't noticed already, there are two members of Team Rocket hanging around the city. Their mere presence means that you'll probably need to thwart some great plan of theirs sometime soon...
Stop in the café on the south side and talk to the guy at the back table. He lost all of his money at the slots, and can't wait to be rid of his Coin Case. This lets you start collecting coins for all those rare prizes!
Next door to the café is an operation that is currently shipping 2000 Pokémon as slot prizes to the Game Corner every month. Those kinds of numbers mean big money, which means that it's got Team Rocket's name written all over it. Whatever their master plan is, as one worker quickly points out, it surely has nothing to do with a hidden switch behind a poster in the Game Corner.
Game Corner
All the prizes here are offered at extremely high prices, so you will need a huge supply of coins to get everything. Check along the ground to find a few coins, and talk to the other gamblers to get a few more. After that, either buy them (50 coins for $1000) or take your chances on the slots. Some prizes are extremely rare, while others are one-of-a-kind.

At first glance, nothing seems out of the ordinary, but there's something unsettling about the guy glaring at the poster.
|
He runs off, leaving the poster exposed. Hit the switch to reveal a stairway to the right, and descend into the gang's hideout.
Rocket Hideout
Team Rocket's operation is headed by a shadowy figure known as Giovanni. This mob boss is in possession of the Silph Scope prototype, which can identify the ghosts back in Pokémon Tower. Track him down to recover the prototype, and force the gang out of the city.

This floor is the first area that you encounter spinner tiles; these send you spinning until you land on a stopper tile.
Enter the maze, and follow the spinners to the stopper tile in the northwest. Backtrack to get the Nugget from the northeast corner. On your way south you'll find a Moon Stone, TM07 (Horn Drill), and a Super Potion. You can climb the stairs to the east to find two more Rockets and a Hyper Potion, then head down the stairs to reach B3F.

Go south past the lone Rocket to get TM10 (Double-Edge), then enter the second spinner maze. This one isn't as large as the last, so spin around a little and grab the Rare Candy on your way south. Beat up the Rocket here and go downstairs to B4F.

When you first reach B4F, you can only reach the two rooms on the west side. Walk south to find an HP Up sitting on a table, then check out the northern room. By the far wall is TM02 (Razor Wind), and to the north, another Rocket.

Talk to him after the battle, and he's so upset that he drops the Lift Key. Now climb back to B2F and spin through the maze one last time to reach the elevator in the southeast. Ride back down to B4F to reach the east side.
When you exit the elevator, go west to find an Iron. Take out Giovanni's guards, then step inside to confront the criminal mastermind.

After the battle, Giovanni and the other Rockets disappear. Pick up the Silph Scope that he left behind; now you can climb to the very top of Pokémon Tower. Take the elevator up to the 1st floor, and beat one last Rocket on the way out.

Rest up at the Poké Center so you are prepared for the fourth Gym.

CELADON CITY
POKéMON GYM
LEADER: ERIKA
The Nature Loving
Princess!
The Celadon Gym is one of the easiest to defeat, since the Template:Type2s here have so many weaknesses to exploit. Challengers can either scorch them with Template:Type2 attacks, or peck them apart with Template:Type2 moves. Since all but the lone Exeggcute are part-Poison, Template:Type2 moves are a viable alternative. Don't forget about the little girl's TM13!
Defeating the Celadon Gym earns you the Rainbow Badge, which commands all Pokémon up to level 50, and enables the use of Strength outside of battle. Erika also gives out TM21 (Mega Drain), a Template:Type2 move that damages the opponent while restoring the user's health.
Now you can finally leave Celadon. Bring along that extra drink and head east to Route 7. Step inside the gate, and the guard stops you. He automatically sniffs out the drink, and since he'll share it with the other three guards, you are now free to come and go through Saffron City. The Saffron Poké Mart offers the powerful Max Repel, and it may be a good idea to buy a few for the haunted tower. Ignore the rest of the city for now, and continue east to Lavender Town.
Lavender Town
Pokémon Tower
The Template:Type2s here are totally immune to Normal- and Template:Type2 moves, so avoid bringing Pokémon that rely on those attack types. Catch a few of the local species, then spray on the Max Repel and make your way to the top of the tower. One of the Channelers on 5F has not been possessed by the ghosts, and maintains a healing area with her white magic. This zone will revive and restore your team to full health.

As you approach the stairs leading to the top floor, the one true ghost attacks. The Silph Scope activates, revealing a level 30 Marowak. This would otherwise be a great addition to the Pokédex, but this spirit can't be caught. Once the battle is over, the mother Marowak's spirit is calmed, and departs to the afterlife. Take the stairs to the top floor, right into a group of Rockets.

After the grunts run off, talk to Mr. Fuji to wind up at his home at the foot of the tower.

Speak with him again to get the Poké Flute, an item that instantly awakens any sleeping Pokémon. It just so happens to work on the two rogue Snorlax, west of Celadon and south of Lavender.
But first, head back to Saffron City.
